On July 19, 2017, Apple released security update 10.12.6 to macOS Sierra. This security update includes improved stability, compatibility, and security to the macOS operating system and is recommended for all users to apply. Since macOS Sierra was released, BUTST has been continually testing Sierra for compatibility with Centrify, BigFix (IEM), Symantec (SEP), and Pulse. While BUTST has ensured functionality, each site should test installation/upgrade and applications before putting Sierra into USGS production.
