LCS v4.3.0 SW update was released on February 23, 2018. This LCS installer is a MANDATORY update. Kits must be updated to v4.3.0 by March 20 as it contains a new certificate for the thick client enrollment application that expires on March 21. If not updated, the LCS kit can’t conduct an enrollment. A post install step must also be performed on or after the March 24th upgrade, but not before that time.
LAS v4.4.0 SW was also released on February 23, 2018. This new LA installer is a STRONGLY RECOMMENDED update as it contains a newer version of Java (Java 8 Update 161) and a fix for a known issue introduced with Release 12/LA 4.3.1 with PCA Express where PIN locks and activations/card updates couldn’t complete.
