The June 2016 update rollup package for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 fixes issues and includes performance and reliability improvements, including KB3161647, Windows Update Client for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2: June 2016. This update addresses the long scan time some have reported when trying to check Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 for updates. It will also fix the Windows Update error 0x8007000E that some computers have been receiving while trying to retrieve updates.
