WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
DOI has scheduled to lift the moratorium on iOS9 tomorrow, October 6, 2015 2:00pm ET. Their testing has shown that there is still a known issue with BisonConnect and the iOS 9 native Calendar. Google is working at the highest priority to have this issue resolved. Symptoms of this bug include missing calendar entries on the device, or the inability to create a calendar entry on the iOS9 device and have it sync back to BisonConnect.
** The issue is ONLY related to calendaring; there are no issues with email delivery or contacts ***
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
One workaround is to have users experiencing these issues on an iOS9 device:
Go to Settings>Mail Contacts Calendar>Select DOI Email account.
Under “Calendar” turn the green switch off
Select “Delete from My iPhone”.
When action completes, turn Calendar back “on”
NOTE: This FIX will last about 8 hours and then problems will begin again. The ONLY way to avoid these issues is to NOT update to iOS 9. New devices with iOS 9 can be enrolled in Mass360 but will have the same calendar issues.
If your device currently does not have iOS 9, it is recommended that you not upgrade until the calendar issue is resolved. Please contact your local IT Support or the USGS Service Desk (703-648-4357) if you have any questions.
