Mandatory Update for LAS/LCS Stations Due by 1/12/18

USAccess Software Release 12.0, is scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 13-14. This release includes an update to the Card Management System (CMS) used to activate and update PIV credentials. This CMS update means that all LAS and LCS kits will need new ActiveX controls in order to complete card activations, updates and rekeys once the CMS update goes into production.

As a result, new LAS (v4.3.1) and LCS (v4.2) installers have been posted at https://tst.usgs.gov/applications/security/light-activation-kits/

Please apply this update to your LAS and/or LCS stations no later than January 12, 2018.   If you do not apply these updates, your station will likely not work until the update is applied.
