We have received reports that upgrading McAfee encrypted Windows 7 or 8.1 Enterprise systems to Windows 10 Enterprise build 1709 using the SCCM DOI-Windows 10 1709 Upgrade Applications may cause blue screens and also installs the Windows 10 Professional Edition instead of Enterprise.
The SCCM DOI-Windows 10 1709 Upgrade Application has been filtered to only allow Windows 10 to Windows 10 in-place upgrades. Sites should migrate Windows 7 or 8.x installs to Windows 10 using the USGS/DOI supported process of performing a clean install.
