Tableau

Bureau personnel can “read” and interact with data published through Tableau Server (hosted by CHS), with no additional software installed on their computers. A Tableau Viewer license allows users to interact with workbooks in Tableau Server to add comments, download .png and .pdf versions of workbooks, subscribe to alerts, and more. Licenses are purchased on a quarterly basis, and license costs may be covered by CHS. For more information and to request a license, open a ticket with CHS. USGS personnel may need the use of Tableau Desktop to create interactive data visualizations of financial or other data. Tableau Desktop requires a license.
