iOS Devices not at 8.4.1 or later. Action Needed

December 18, 2015 - January 21, 2016

All iPhone and iPads procured by DOI are required to be enrolled and managed using DOI’s Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.  To promote standardization and increase security DOI has identified a baseline iOS of 8.4.1.  Your device has the capability of upgrading to that version and we ask that you upgrade before December 31st, 2015.   New DOI policy guidelines have mandated that we remove any devices that are not at iOS version 8.4.1 or later January 1, 2016.

To upgrade your iOS device:

·         check by going to Settings > General > Software Update (need to be at 8.4.1 or later)

·         If it needs to be updated see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204204
