Patch All Internet-Facing Devices

Patches on a Computer

By September 30, 2013 all USGS Internet-facing devices must be patched of all critical and high vulnerability, labeled as such in the monthly USGS eVMS report.  After September 30, 2013, those systems which remain Internet-facing and a security risk to the DOI, will be removed from the DOI network at the discretion of the USGS Chief Technology Officer.
