What is BlueZone Web-to-Host?
BlueZone Terminal Emulation is a robust, terminal emulation suite providing both traditional desktop and two-tier web-to-host, web browser access to backend systems including; IBM Mainframe (3270), IBM iSeries (5250), Unisys (T27 & UTS), UNIX/DEC (VT) and Secure FTP. BlueZone is used by IBC customers to access and process payroll (FPPS) and financial data.
BlueZone Web-to-Host is a simple two-tier terminal emulation solution. First the end user browses to the Web page that contains a link that downloads a pre-configured terminal emulator. Once the emulator is downloaded from the Web server (a one-time only action), a secure Telnet session is established directly with the host, taking the Web server out of the equation altogether.

If you are using the S-VIP VPN Waiver and need to access FPPS, you must request a waiver from IBC to access FPPS without a smartcard. Please contact IBC at CSC_IT_Services_HelpDesk@ios.doi.gov to start the process.
