The USAccess Light Activation (LA) v6.1.0 and Mobile Credentialing Unit (MCU) v3.1.0 installers were posted on LAS tst page today. These new installers are mandatory by the release of USAccess v21.0, which is now scheduled for February 12-13, 2022. The installers include new versions of the ActiveX controls and PCA.
USAccess Release 21.0 includes an update to CMS for additional browser support, new installer packages for MCU and LA, and a new Rules of Behavior shortcut icon for USAccess workstations.
This will update the Card Management System (CMS) to the latest version, which will add support for the Chrome and Edge browsers. Previously, CMS, which is used in Attended and Unattended Activation, would only support the IE. With the implementation of Release 21.0, it will now support the use of both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
